Xbox 360 Slim + Kinect (Will you buy it?)

Today a new improved xbox 360 was unveiled. The most notable points of the new machine is it's sleek design, 250GB HD, and built in high-speed wireless capabilities. This new model will be released at $299 and should be available in stores by the end of the week. Microsoft also plans to release a lesser model (similar to arcade systems) for $199.

Also keep in mind that in November Kinect will be released. If you are not familiar with this you may have heard of it's orginal name "Project Natal" here is a video of this product that was released at last years E3 event.

In my opinion Microsoft is taking the right steps to create the ultimate multimedia machine (sans blu-ray). With the ability to stream HD movies, music, built in Netflix, and now built in ESPN on demand I could see myself purchasing an HD antenna and canceling my cable TV in the near future. I currently own an original xbox360 and will more than likely upgrade (mine tends to ring of death often and is very loud), I will wait and see what Sony has to offer at this years E3 before I make my final decision.
